WHAT TO EXPECT
This 8 session Daring Greatly™ online workshop is facilitated by Rebecca Hopkins. Rebecca takes you on a journey through Brené Brown’s research based, courage building methodology. While learning the emotional skills required to step into the arena, you get to experience the rare sense of common humanity, the feeling we experience when we feel seen, heard and valued.

You will leave with a deep understanding of how:
- Vulnerability, courage, shame, and worthiness show up in our lives.
- To talk about trust in a meaningful way.
- Amour, not fear, is what stops us from being brave.
- To practice empathy in order to deeply connect with those around you.
- Self-compassion is the answer to reducing anxiety and overwhelm.
CONTENT
Session 1: March 30th, 7.30pm-9.30pm (Melbourne Timezone)
- In this first session we welcome everyone in to the group and spend a good amount of time getting to know each other. One of the best things about this workshop is the amazing women you will meet.
- You will also identify the values that are most important in your life and learn why they are the foundation for emotional resiliency.
Session 2: April 6th, 7.30pm-9.30pm (Melbourne Timezone)
- In session 2 we introduce you to the arena metaphor.
- We explore the myths of vulnerability and see how it shows up in your arena.
- We will unpack trust using Brené’s Marble Jar and BRAVING model.
Session 3: April 13th, 7.30pm-9.30pm (Melbourne Timezone)
- We build your skill set on the two most important seats in the arena, empathy and self-compassion.
Session 4: April 20th, 7.30pm-9.30pm (Melbourne Timezone)
- This week we dig into understanding shame and how it is a barrier to courage.
Session 5: April 27th, 7.30pm-9.30pm (Melbourne Timezone)
- Here we explore how we armour up when we feel shame and we take a look at the three patterned ways we use our shame shields which get in the way of our authenticity and connection with others.
Session 6: May 4th, 7.30pm-9.30pm (Melbourne Timezone)
- This week we take a deep look at the unrealistic identities we set up for ourselves. Get ready for a massive eyeopener to the unconscious expectations and standards you may be holding yourself up to.
- If you are a perfectionist, this is your week!
Session 7: May 11th, 7.30pm-9.30pm (Melbourne Timezone)
- The penultimate session is all about understanding the emotion of shame at a deep level.
- We take a look at the patterned ways we behave when we are feeling shame and how to move through in a way that doesn’t disconnect us.
Session 8: May 18th, 7.30pm-9.30pm (Melbourne Timezone)
- In this final week we bring it all together as we explore how to integrate what we have learned on how to cultivate shame resilience.
